Why appliance and heavy item removal is harder than it looks
A modern fridge weighs 250+ lbs and holds refrigerant that's illegal to landfill. Washers and dryers need to be disconnected from plumbing and venting. Hot tubs are 700–900 lbs and hard-wired to 240V. Most homeowners across the GTA don't have the equipment, the truck, or the day off to handle it.
We do. Appliance dollies, straps, saws, tools, and a two-person crew that does this every day.
Appliances we remove
Refrigerators, freezers, chest freezers, wine fridges, mini-fridges. Washers, dryers, stackable units. Stoves, ovens, ranges, cooktops, range hoods. Dishwashers, microwaves. Water heaters (electric and gas). AC units (window, portable and split), dehumidifiers, humidifiers.
Hot tub removal
Backyard hot tubs are one of the most common heavy-item calls we get across the GTA. We drain, disconnect, cut the shell down on-site, and haul the whole system: cover, motor pack, decking. In one visit. Typically $449–$799 flat. Full details on our heavy item removal page.
Piano removal
Uprights, spinets, baby grands, grands. We move them out of walk-ups, basements and tight hallways every week without damaging your floors or walls. Removal and responsible disposal only. We do not resell.
Treadmill & exercise equipment removal
Treadmills, ellipticals, home gyms, weight benches, Peloton bikes, rowing machines. Heavy, awkward, almost always in a basement. We handle the dismantling and the stairs. Exercise equipment removal is priced flat per piece or bundled into a larger clear-out.
Appliance recycling and donation
Every appliance we pick up goes to a certified Ontario recycler. Refrigerants are reclaimed in compliance with federal regulations. Steel, copper and aluminum are recovered. Working units are tested and donated to local charities when possible.
Pricing
A single fridge costs less than a full kitchen clear-out. Send a photo of the appliances and the access route, we quote the all-in price up front and confirm it on site before any work begins. No hidden fees.
